Refund Policy

Arabic Beacon Academy aims to provide fair, clear, and practical refund terms for students and parents who purchase online lessons through our website or directly through our approved payment methods.

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be requested, how lesson cancellations are handled, and how unused lesson credit may be applied.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to paid online lessons, monthly lesson plans, and 3-month payment options purchased for Arabic, Quran, Tajweed, or related online learning services provided by Arabic Beacon Academy.

This policy does not apply to the free trial lesson offered on our main website, because no payment is required for that lesson.

2. Free Trial Lesson

The free trial lesson offered through our main website is free of charge. No refund is needed for the free trial lesson because no payment is collected for it.

If a separate paid booking fee or paid trial offer is used on a specific landing page or advertising campaign in the future, the refund terms for that offer should be stated clearly on that page.

3. Monthly Lesson Plans

Monthly lesson plans are paid in advance before regular lessons begin.

Each monthly plan includes a specific number of 60-minute online lessons. The number of lessons depends on the plan selected by the student or parent.

The current monthly plan options may include:

3.1 Starter Plan: 4 lessons per month

3.2 Standard Plan: 8 lessons per month

3.3 Progress Plan: 12 lessons per month

3.4 Intensive Plan: 16 lessons per month

4. Refund Before Lessons Begin

A full refund may be requested if all of the following conditions are met:

4.1 The refund request is made within 7 days of payment.

4.2 No paid lesson from the purchased plan has taken place.

4.3 The student has not attended any paid lesson from that plan.

4.4 The request is sent to us by email or WhatsApp with enough payment details to identify the transaction.

5. Refund After Lessons Have Started

Once paid lessons have started, used lessons are not refundable.

If a student decides to stop after some lessons have already been taken, Arabic Beacon Academy may review the remaining unused lessons and may offer one of the following options, depending on the situation:

5.1 A partial refund for unused lessons.

5.2 Lesson credit that can be used later.

5.3 A transfer of unused lesson credit to another suitable course or plan.

Any approved refund after lessons have started will be calculated based on unused lessons only. Lessons that have already been attended are not refundable.

6. 3-Month Payment Option

Students may have the option to pay for 3 months in advance and receive a 10% saving.

If a student chooses a 3-month payment option, refund requests will be reviewed based on the number of lessons already used and the number of lessons remaining.

If a refund is approved, any discount already applied may be taken into account when calculating the refundable amount.

7. Missed Lessons and Late Cancellations

If a student cannot attend a scheduled lesson, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.

If the student gives at least 24 hours’ notice, we will try to reschedule the lesson based on teacher availability.

If the student misses a lesson without enough notice, the lesson may be counted as used and may not be refunded or rescheduled.

We understand that emergencies can happen, and we may review exceptional situations case by case.

8. Teacher Cancellation

If a teacher is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, Arabic Beacon Academy will arrange a makeup lesson at no extra cost.

If a makeup lesson cannot be arranged within a reasonable time, the missed teacher-cancelled lesson will remain as unused lesson credit or may be considered for refund if appropriate.

9. Credit Notes and Unused Lesson Credit

In some cases, instead of a refund, Arabic Beacon Academy may offer unused lesson credit.

Lesson credit may be used for future lessons or another suitable course offered by Arabic Beacon Academy.

Unless otherwise agreed, lesson credit should be used within 12 months from the date it is issued.

10. Payment Processing Fees

Some payment providers may charge processing fees, currency conversion fees, or other transaction-related costs.

Where legally allowed and where applicable, such third-party fees may be deducted from the refunded amount if they are not returned to us by the payment provider.

11. Digital Materials

Any digital materials, worksheets, recordings, or resources already provided to the student may be non-refundable where applicable.

If a specific course or programme includes separate paid materials, the refund terms for those materials may be stated separately.

12. Special Programmes or Offers

Some special programmes, promotions, or limited-time offers may have their own refund terms.

If separate refund terms are clearly stated on the relevant page or payment offer, those specific terms will apply to that offer.

13.1 Student name

13.2 Parent or payer name, if different

13.3 Email address used for payment or booking

13.4 WhatsApp number used for communication, if applicable

13.5 Course or plan purchased

13.6 Date of payment

13.7 Reason for the refund request

We may ask for additional information if needed to identify the payment or review the request.

14. Refund Review Time

We aim to review refund requests within a reasonable time after receiving all necessary information.

If a refund is approved, the time it takes to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or payment method used.

15. Changes to This Refund Policy

Arabic Beacon Academy may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

The refund terms that apply to your purchase are generally the terms published at the time of your payment, unless a later change is required by law or agreed with you.
